Are you registered electricians?
Yes! As a business, we are registered electricians with NAPIT (National Association Of Professional Testers and Inspectors). We hold their Electrical Installer Certification Scheme, Electrical Inspector Scheme, Competent Person Scheme and Third Party Certifier Scheme accreditations.
Are you part of any other scheme's?
Yes! As a business, and via the NAPIT accreditation, we are registered with TrustMark - the only Government endorsed quality scheme in the UK. We are Trading Standards approved contractors via TrustMark also. Click here for the Trustmark Customer Charter.
What insurance cover do you hold?
Via Hiscox Insurance, we hold Public Liability Cover (£10m), Employers Liability Cover (£10m) and Professional Indemnity Cover (£500k),
Do you have any SSiP accreditation?
Yes! We are SafeContractor registered contractors.
Do you have a call out charge / What are your rates?
For all reactive appointments, we charge £75 + VAT. This covers the first hour on site (or part thereof) and travel. Labour is charged at £45 + VAT per hour for any quoted works, or additional hours beyond the initial call out charge. Materials are charged at our cost, plus 20% + VAT.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Exeter, but cover all of Devon and into parts of Somerset and Cornwall. Please contact us for clarification for areas outside of Devon.
How can we provide feedback or make a complaint?
You are free to provide feedback and reviews via our social channels, but we'd also love to hear from you direct, either by email info@westexesolutions.co.uk or by phone 01392 979108. We would encourage any complaint to be raised via email or phone initially so we can work with you to resolve the issue. NAPIT are our Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers.
